Overview and Responsibilities

Republic Finance is seeking project managers to drive large, cross-functional initiatives supporting our ongoing business transformation. We are seeking individuals skilled in proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, defining requirements, building project plans and guiding large project teams to delivery of operationally and financially successful initiatives on time and under budget. Job responsibilities are as follows:

* Lead business and support partners in the creation of project requirements, including project scope, anticipated benefits, costs and resource requirements
* Develop and revise complex project plans and budgets
* Facilitate team problem solving and build subject matter expertise through the project life cycle
* Assess current processes and systems, recommending opportunities to upgrade
* Source, negotiate and manage outside vendors and their interactions with partner teams including IT, Compliance and Risk
* Lead project implementation as the central point for deliverables, tracking timelines and regularly communicating progress to leadership
* Utilize standard project processes and tools aligned with the PMO
* Define project quality standards and lead post-implementation testing with formal hand-off to the BAU process owner
* Provide thorough and regular verbal and written communication to project stakeholders and leadership
* Identify, mitigate and escalate as necessary project risks
* Work to demanding timelines in a fast paced team environment

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree
* 2+ years in a project management role
* Limited travel if located in Baton Rouge, LA; travel of 50 - 75% if located in Plano, TX;

Preferred Qualifications

* 4+ years in a project management role including experience in the Consumer Lending industry
* PMI certification
* Experience with project management disciplines: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.
* Skilled in project, program and resource management applications
* Process design and re-engineering
* Data mining and analysis
