Vaco Technology is seeking an IT Project Manager with experience managing Application Security projects for a 6-12 month contract opportunity in McLean, VA.

In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and monitor the client's Application Security projects. You will also maintain schedules, budgets, and manage the execution of integrated project plans. My client is seeking someone who is skilled in cyber security (application security) project management. They are seeking someone who is an excellent communicator and is able to interact/present to all levels of the Business (from technical teams through executive leadership). You will also need to be able to craft executive level briefing materials and work with the Finance team to properly scope and budget projects.

Requirements include:

* Min. 3 years of IT Project Management experience
* Experience leading Application Security and/or Cyber Security projects
* Highly experienced using Microsoft Project
* PMP certification highly desired
* Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CASP, Security+, CCSP are preferred
* Excellent English communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
* Local candidates are preferred
* Bachelor's degree
