Responsibilities:

* Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
* Take projects from original concept through final implementation
* Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services
* Define project scope and objectives
* Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
* Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
* Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables
* Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables
* Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team
* Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) of all systems and other components associated release to validate efficient integration and system readiness
* Work with the business and systems teams to produce the eSDLC documentation
* Prepare a risk register to track and maintain projects risks and issues
* Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
* Will work closely with Project Management Specialist in developing Project Plans and building links to other documents in those plans
* Will support the client in developing Communication Plans, Memo, Memorandums, Charter Schedules, and Mission Goals as required
* Will be responsible for rough drafting documentation such as Strategic Management Plans (SMPs) and developing templates to the client and providing edits and final reviews as needed
* Provided support by attending meetings with or for client in which you will take notes, and may even start developing templates and start processes during the meetings

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field
* PMP Certification preferred
* 5 years working experience with project planning
* Able to lead or support various tasks and work closely with management, users and team members to accomplish tasks
* Experience with automated project management planning and tracking tools a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* US Citizenship
