How will you make an impact?

The Project Management Specialist will manage UX team project engagements across multiple learner-facing applications and websites and is responsible for overall client happiness, quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of projects. You are a digitally-savvy, strategic leader who can multitask and handle multiple streams of work and responsibility across internal teams. An eye for strong UX and UI work and the ability to identify and secure consensus through impactful and innovative ideas to internal clients is critical. You will interact with project-specific leads and external vendors and raise issues that impact timing or budget to Services UX Director and identifies additional resources as needed during project life cycle.

* Create and oversee project logs for the team, set deadlines, and monitor and summarize progress of projects.
* Serve as the client contact, presents project status, participates in the project change process, manages client expectations, advances issues as appropriate, handles any billing/invoicing issues, and identifies opportunities for follow-up work or new projects.
* Applies professional-level functional knowledge to solve problems requiring the identification and analysis of moderately complex variables.
* Develop and manage project plans
* Work with the team and business leads to execute project plans, involving people at the optimal levels for project success and overall account utilization (goals, deliverables, schedule, budget, resources).
* Build and share weekly project status reports with full team
* Participate in the creation of the life-cycle of project engagements from inception through the full execution of strategy, user experience, interface design, and development.
* Guide collaborative work with internal business partners, external vendors, and technical teams on multiple types of learner-facing applications and websites.
* Assist in creating RFPs, reviewing SOWs, and actively monitor project progress against scope, achievements and maintain budget.
* Assist learner engagement manager with activities relating to learner interaction.
* Support client and outside-vendor relationships with responsibility for resourcing, satisfaction, risk management, prioritization of all deliverables and ensuring the quality of work meets agency standards and client objectives.

What will you bring to the role?

* A bachelors degree and 3-5 years of related work experience.
* Strong client facing presentation, verbal and written skills.
* Experience working with user experience, strategy, and creative teams.
* Strong interest in and experience with leading multiple successful client engagements, preferably on website/app dev projects.
* Develop relationships with clients by gaining trust and successful delivery.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Deep understanding of project management, workflow and infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of Jira or similar project management software.
* Knowledge of proofing client work/quality assurance process is required.
* Experience within medical or higher education preferred.
* Experience working with technical teams preferred.

If a bachelor's degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
