Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for administering and organizing all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans. Responsibilities include working closely with management to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for projects. Position will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial and other data queries. Responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting programmatic development, program and project management, data tracking and analysis, quality assurance and troubleshooting related to department specific projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
* Liaises with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
* Assigns tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
* Assures that clients' needs are met as projects evolve.
* Assists in preparation of budgets.
* Analyzes risks and opportunities.
* Oversees project procurement management as needed.
* Monitors project progress and address any issues that arise.
* Acts as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
* Escalates issues as appropriate to Project Manager.
* Uses appropriate tools to monitor project, plans and expenditures.
* Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
* Ensures standards and requirement are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
* Other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

High School diploma required. Bachelor or higher degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Management or related field highly preferred.

License/Certification Requirements/Preferences:

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred.

Experience:

Two (2) years related administrative and/or management experience inclusive of project management, performance improvement and strategic planning required.
