Location:

As a Project Architect at DLR Group|Kwan Henmi, you will be a key member of the design team, responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of design development and documentation, working with and leading team-members, while ensuring and delivering design excellence.

We are looking for Architects to fill this role in the Multi-Family Housing, Transportation, Higher Education, and K-12 Sectors.

Position Summary:

You will partner directly with the Design Team and Project Manager to assure Design excellence while ensuring the financial health of the project, the quality of project documents, team collaboration and communication. Additionally, you will lead the cross-functional design disciplines in developing technical solutions.

The successful candidate will:

* Value, expect and enable Great Design.
* Work as part of the Design Team in the conceptual development of project documents.
* Have a comprehensive understanding of, and the ability to coordinate and lead the design team in developing technical solutions.
* Provide mentorship to others.
* Have extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional practice from schematic design through project close-out.
* Be able to work and present ideas in a team environment as well as self-manage and self-motivate in a creative environment.
* Possess a high level of technical proficiency in the production of architectural drawings.
* Lead the project team in the adherence to all practice standards.
* Supervise the design and technical development of the project.
* Be experiences in large and complex projects in the Multi-Family Housing, Transportation, Higher Education, and K-12 Sectors.

Required Qualifications:

* Seven or more years of professional experience with a minimum of two years as a Project Architect.
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Design from an accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Professional license.
* Proficient in the use of Revit and AutoCAD.
* Experience with industry standard design software: MS Office; Adobe suite; Rhino, Sketchup, etc.
* The ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.
