Job Description

SAIC, the sole provider of the Remote Sensing Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team in El Segundo, CA has an immediate need for a Systems Scheduler with system planning expertise. This individual will work with the Remote Sensing (RS) SE&I Leads to coordinate and integrate all efforts into the Government's Integrated Schedules (Enterprise Master Schedule, Tier 0-1, One Voice Schedules, Roadmaps) for Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS), Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Next Generation, Space-Based Environmental Monitoring (SBEM), and Program of Record Ground / Future Ground and future acquisition efforts for the RS Enterprise. This individual will be a Planner with experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Space-Based systems. Candidate will provide SE&I planning support to the OPIR and SBEM Enterprise programs in support of the Space and Missile Systems Center Remote Sensing Directorate (SMC/RS). Major duties of the position include:

* Executing and evolving the RS Enterprise schedule management processes for the enterprise
* Interacting with prime contractors and SE&I Integrators to ensure that all system requirements are coordinated, scheduled and planned across the SMC/RS Enterprise
* Providing scheduling and planning support for all SMC/RS space, ground, operations, logistics, and sustainment elements to identify and support the management of risks, issues, interdependencies, identifying schedule disconnects and conflicts, and developing action plans for resolution
* Integrating activities over the lifecycle of systems within the Enterprise, including pre-contractual, development, and production, as well as operations and sustainment
* Developing acquisition-related briefings, plans, papers, and other documentation is support of SMC/RS decision-making
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Math
* Current Secret Clearance
* 3 years of relevant experience with space and ground segments of DoD, and other Government space programs
* Knowledge of project integration, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and stakeholder processes
* Experience with risk management, issue resolution, configuration management, change boards, and the change management process
* Scheduling and planning experience with space, ground, operations, and sustainment segments of a DoD program
* Experience with space systems, EM systems, OPIR systems, ground and space system acquisition, and systems engineering experience
* Experience developing and maintaining MS Project schedules
* Experience using Milestone Pro and / or One Pager Pro
