Your Mission

Activision Publishing is currently looking for a Project Management Professional to join the Mobile production team. We are looking for an individual who has a passion and proven track record for optimizing processes and increasing team efficiency. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sr. Director of Production.

As the PMP for Mobile Production, you will create, refine and enforce production best practices across all teams. In partnering with both the working teams and executive management, your goals will be to manage overall team, process and tool efficiency and help deliver great high-quality games that achieve franchise initiatives, as well as attain their financial and schedule goals on time.

You will manage the overall team efficiency and use your experience to improve production methodologies, organizational processes, as well as identify and monitor relevant vulnerabilities, associated risk. You will work with the teams to provide mitigation strategies and/or recommendations for resolution of issues to executive management.

Position is based at our Activision Headquarters in Santa Monica, California.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Provide Project Management and process improvement support for project schedule management, continuous process improvement, and organizational effectiveness
* Teach and enforce the usage of Project Management Tools and best practices.
* Work with teams to create and execute communications and escalation plans and strategies
* Facilitate planning sessions to build consensus among project team members regarding task definitions, sequencing and interrelationships within the project
* Prepare and deliver project reports, customized dashboards, consolidated schedules, and presentations for project status meetings
* Manage, plan, & track multiple project schedules, baselines and budgets using the full capabilities of Microsoft® Project, Jira or other management software.
* Consistently monitors the operational performance of mobile projects. Evaluates reports, schedules and conditions to discover opportunities to increase productivity.

Player Profile

* Bachelor's Degree or higher education degree preferred
* PMP with a proven record of increasing team efficiency.
* 5+ years of experience as a PMP, CAPM, CSM or other project management professional certification proficient in leading SCRUM ceremonies as Scrum Master (-Daily Stand-Ups, Retrospectives, Planning Meetings, Developing User Stories, Managing a Product backlog, Coordinating communication across the cross-functional team: Product Owners Developers, Testers)
* Experience with multiple Production Methodologies; Spiral, AGILE - SCRUM, Waterfall, Kaizen, Kanban, Lean, etc.
* A Teacher of People. You will teach a skilled team; be prepared to influence, build trust and develop future teachers.
* You are knowledgeable about production processes, methods and tools across multiple industries.
* Process Diagrams, Swim Lanes, Context Diagrams

Collaborator & Communicator

* You will be the expert regarding schedule best practices and overall team efficiency.
* Experienced in effectively collaborating with internal teams and executives. You will only be as successful as your relationship with the teams allows you.
* Ensures a high level of communication throughout the organization is in place. Confirms that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded. Is strategic about their participation in meetings; fulfilling lead or support roles as necessary.
