Job Description

Role Summary:You will be responsible for technology advancement within Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) and adjacent Digital disciplines for military customers. You will lead execution of active Science & Technology programs in this area, including key Future Vertical Lift projects. You will support white paper responses, proposals and develop an overall technology roadmap strategy. You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team with the opportunity to apply innovative thinking.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Work closely with MSO, AED, internal engineering, and external customer teams in developing a winning strategy for prognostics and health management for future platforms
* Provide leadership and direction for assigned roadmap development
* Collaborate externally to align GE and military customer technology development plans
* Facilitate communication of technical information between GE organizations and within work group
* Execute with limited guidance the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
* Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements & mature required technologies
* Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization
* Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
* Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks
* Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
* Monitor customer and industry technology direction and significant developments to adjust strategy



Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field from an accredited University or College
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a systems engineering role
