About the team

FIS is looking for a Product Support Representative to join our North American Lending team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a great team, that provides in-depth technical product support to FIS clients.

A proven, cloud-based solution, Origenate from CMSI is a powerful browser-based loan origination and credit automation system that supports both indirect and direct lending. It streamlines the entire loan process, including application receipt, automated decisions, advanced workflow, configurable business rules and secure e-signatures. Comprehensive data improves loan quality, reduces risk, improves efficiency and speeds turnaround times.

What you will be doing

* You will provide in-depth technical product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries via phone or client portal
* You will work with installation, operation, maintenance and compatibility issues
* You will troubleshoot problems with malfunctioning hardware, server, operating system or software applications and recommend a corrective action

What you bring:

The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities (SQL, Unix, etc.) and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role will require occasional shift flexibility in order to provide support to all of our clients in their various time zones. You can typically expect to work one (1) Saturday each month and will participate in an on-call rotation. (Additional shift information can be found at the bottom of the job description.)

Added bonus if you have:

* Intermediate knowledge of networks, communication protocols, gateways, servers and associated monitoring tools
* Certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, Agile
* Experience in the Financial Technology/Banking industry

SHIFT INFORMATION:

Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24X7 support to our clients. You can typically expect to carry a phone one week out of each month for on call support though this may increase occasionally due to business needs.

Potential working hours in office: 8:30am-5:30pm, 9:00am-6:00pm with one day a week from 11:00am-8:00pm per week. Hours may change due to business needs but typically these would allow correct staffing coverage.

Participate in a rotation to cover Saturday office hours 9:00am to 5:00pm. You can typically expect to work one Saturday each month. This will be from home, with a company issued phone/computer.

This position may require additional significant after-hours work to support data migrations and upgrades.
