Adaptive Management is a SaaS company building a unified ecosystem for leveraging data. Our cloud-based platform, DataMonster™, enables companies to interface with thousands of data providers to quickly find answers from data. Our team includes former financial investors, NSA cryptology and applied mathematics experts, and Silicon Valley software veterans. Adaptive Management is headquartered in Manhattan, New York City.

The Role:

We are seeking our first full-time Product Designer to join our company. In this capacity you will own design for product across the organization. You'll help us define and develop the design process of our company. You'll have the chance to define and instill the design process for a fast-growing startup, and work on complex and exciting challenges.

Responsibilities:

* Help define and develop the design process of our company
* Work closely with stakeholders and customers to understand design needs
* Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes and pixel-perfect designs
* Help drive and influence the roadmap and our success
* Translate large complex data and make it easy to navigate, understand and visualize from a design perspective

Qualifications:

* 5+ years experience in product design
* Experience working on SaaS web products, either B2B or data heavy B2C
* Thorough understanding of design principles
* Proficiency in Sketch, InVision and other design tools
* Ability to take ideas from whiteboard to sketch, to prototype to launch and through iteration
* Experience in running research and user testing
* Affinity for Finance and/or Data
* Prior Experience in Data Visualization a huge plus
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
