Process Optimization and Data Solution Specialist

As a Process Manager, Process Optimization and Data Solutions Specialist at Capital One, you will own the intent, development, and ongoing maintenance of key business processes and/or tools that deliver real business value by leveraging large and potentially complex data sets.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Partnering with other Capital One Associates to define the user experience for key business processes and/or tools
* Developing and delivering effective presentations to senior leaders to attain buy-in and convey results associated with processes/tools
* Utilizing the latest data manipulation and/or visualization tools to create business processes in an automated fashion that materially reduces the ongoing execution effort
* Incorporating comprehensive quality assurance checks and conducting comprehensive quality checks to ensure that processes and tools function as intended and do not contain any errors
* Leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to assess processes and identify opportunities for improvement
* Creating user guides and potentially delivering trainings to ensure proper implementation/utilization of processes or tools
* Completing thorough documentation of business intent, business rules, and implementation approaches to ensure alignment, provide transparency, and facilitate future knowledge transfer

This person should have a well-rounded skill set, that combines critical process management skills (advanced planning, effective collaboration, attention to detail, and strong communication skills) with technical data expertise, which will enable the candidate to optimize and own processes from end-to-end. Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
* At least 1 year Process Management experience OR at least 2 years of Project Management experience
* At least 1 year of scripting experience (Python, Databricks, SQL)

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of process management or project management experience
* 2+ years of experience working in Python or DataBricks
* 1+ years of experience leveraging Python or DataBricks to optimize and streamline processes
* 1+ years of experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools (preferably Tableau)
* 1+ years of experience developing presentations or training materials
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Information Systems or Business Management or Process Management or Project Management
* Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Information Systems or Business Management or Process Management or Project Management
