Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Principle Physical Security Analyst for St. Joseph System Office in Anaheim, CA.

We are seeking a Principle Physical Security Analyst to be responsible for continuing to implement, ensure compliance, and track through metrics, the physical security program and governance for Providence St. Joseph Health. This position is expected to provide thought leadership in areas of, but not limited to; physical security assessments and remediation, workplace violence prevention, physical security identity access management, local operational security oversight, physical security incident management, threat management, event protection, physical security committee lead, physical security project management and business requirements.

The Principal Physical Security Analyst is able to translate strategy into tactical plans then achieve its milestones, determining resource needs and coordinating the work of a cross functional team, often in a lead role. They are responsible for overseeing and coordination of all aspects of a significant domain(s) within the information security program ranging from business requirements and detailed planning (schedule, scope, budget) to on-time completion of deliverables to QA criteria and testing and ongoing metrics and reporting.

He/She works fairly autonomously to proactively develop enterprise physical security methodologies and implement enterprise-wide processes that address and show adherence to regulatory requirements, and that reduce risks to the organization while driving efficiencies. They formulate and lead interdisciplinary teams to identify, assess and address security risks. They are recognized both within RIS and by business units as an authoritative subject matter expert for their assigned domains and have a strong understanding of how the security programs support and effect the organization.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

* Be readily able to translate strategic direction into a concrete action plan with milestones and success criteria.
* Work proactively with minimal supervision / provides leadership for cross functional teams to identify, develop, and implement needed enterprise-wide physical security programs and threat management programs and projects that include budget, resource plans, work-plans, schedules and supporting training and documentation.
* Plan and lead the work of others, works proactively with minimal supervision, collaborates across organizational boundaries. Routinely interfaces with business, physical security, and facilities leaders and sponsors to achieve the following:
* Develop business and physical security requirements; create scenarios and research cases; support project or policy implementation while driving health system objectives relative to standardization, integration, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
* Facilitate / coordinate resources required for system and process implementations.
* Drive / coordinate departmental organizational and operational transformation initiatives. Manage initiatives that support the creation and implementation of operational support models, availability models, system portfolios, service delivery playbooks, service dashboards (key performance indicators, key risk indicators) and system inventory financial portfolios. Leads teams to drive ongoing process improvement and optimization of these initiatives.
* Drive / coordinate resources assigned to physical security and threat management initiatives in support of Information Services (IS) and other departmental transformation initiatives.
* Manage expectations and effective communication to colleagues, project team members, sponsors, stakeholders, business leaders, as well as internal and external security stakeholders and leaders.
* Lead & coordinate work of others, works across the organization to:
* Create, document, implement and manage procedures and processes that ensure physical security control effectiveness.
* Investigate and propose technologies and methodologies that can enhance PSJH's physical security and threat management posture.
* Develop and maintain documentation for all assigned responsibilities.
* Lead creation of physical security regulatory requirements, health system security policies, and security best practices. Advise departments across the health system on appropriate controls consistent with security policies, standards and best practices.
* Contribute information pertinent to formal security training and provide informal physical security awareness information to PSJH caregivers as needed. Commands subject matter expert level knowledge and can confidently and accurately disseminate information to an audience.
* Work in teams across the system to manage expectations and effective communications to colleagues, project team members, sponsors, stakeholders, business leaders, as well as internal and external security stakeholders and leaders.
* Anticipate and takes personal responsibility for customer satisfaction across a diverse group of customers at many management levels.
* Meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of internal and external customers through a deep understanding of perspectives and needs.
* Study, understand, adapt and respond effectively to a constantly changing environment.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Homeland Security, Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent educ/experience.
* 10+ years of related experience, preferably in healthcare.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree in Security Management, Homeland Security, Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice or related field.
