Your role in helping us shape the future:

As a Principal IT Systems Engineer, you will occupy a critical role within the Information Technology department to support the various financial platforms and database infrastructures for the business. You will support and oversee major financial applications such as Microsoft Dynamics SL, Reqlogic, Unanet, BIO/FRX, Microsoft Forecaster, and Salesforce. You will support existing and new database integration technologies such as Jitterbit. You will suggest and implement new ways to integrate and present data to support company success and improve efficiency.

You will participate in major projects that include keeping the IGC financial application infrastructure innovative and robust through version upgrades, additions to functionality, and thoughtful utilization of cloud-based platforms. You will use your impressive set of database management skills to develop and maintain Microsoft SQL SSIS packages and other database-driven solution sets to support various initiatives identified in the corporate strategy. You will improve business efficiency through performing regular maintenance and requested modifications to an Information Technology Service Management platform.

Are you up to the challenge?

* Use a combination of your IT experience and understanding of finance and accounting business practices to support the accounting operations for Microsoft Dynamics SL Financials.
* Design financial and management reports using Crystal Reports, FRX, and SQL
* Oversee all database integration activities, triaging and resolving replication issues according to their severity and priority to the business.
* Apply your creative prowess to resolve complex challenges by introduction of new and innovative technologies to improve the financial platform for the business.
* Display your attention to detail by ensuring the entire IT infrastructure and all day-to-day activities and project efforts are compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
* Drive the IT portion of all internal and external audits throughout the calendar year.
* Engage in the development, maintenance, and improvement of an Information Technology Service Management [ITSM] software platform.

Can you drive these processes?

* Supporting financial platforms;
* supporting Sarbanes-Oxley auditing processes;
* maintaining and improving the financial infrastructure with modern technologies and feature sets;
* maintaining and improving a complex information technology service management software platform;
* maintaining and improving SSIS packages designed to support company billing processes

You should definitely have:

* US Citizenship is required; candidates who are not US Citizens will not be considered for the role.
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance at the Secret level or as required for the role.
* Four-year college degree in a technical field of study or equivalent work experience
* 7+ years of IT experience
* Demonstrated knowledge of accounting transaction flows
* Intensive experience in the maintenance, development, and day-to-day administration of Microsoft Dynamics SL
* Knowledge of T-SQL and/or ProSQL
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases - be able to build and manage custom views and stored procedures
* Ability to maintain and develop SSIS packages in support of various company billing processes
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Experience managing all phases of project lifecycles while incorporating System Development Life Cycles (SDLC) practices suitable for each project
* Strong prioritization, organizational, and project management skillsets

It would be nice if you had:

* Accounting/Finance degree or experience
* Prior experience with Reqlogic, Unanet, and Salesforce platforms
* Prior experience supporting a customizable ITSM suite
* Familiarity with cloud-based financial platforms
