Job Description

A Principal Systems Engineer job in Anaheim, CA is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for leading engineering development, analysis, and flow down of requirements and verification and validation test planning. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor or Master"s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline, and a minimum of 15 years" experience in navigation/GPS systems with emphasis on embedded systems. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire.

Principal Systems Engineer Job duties:

* Requirements tracing and decomposition using the DOORS requirements management tool
* Leading engineering development, analysis, and flow down of requirements
* Verification and validation test planning
* Familiarity with GPS receiver performance criteria.

Qualifications:

* Position requires a Bachelor or Master"s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline
* A minimum of 15 years" experience in navigation/GPS systems with emphasis on embedded systems and an active DoD Secret Clearance
* Knowledge or successful use of architectural frameworks, embedded systems programming, DOORS, military GPS, signal processing, electronic engineering and/or RF designs a plus
* Must have experience in requirements development and management and familiarity with environmental testing
