* Provide system level guidance to agile team of internal and external SW architects and developers and manage system requirements to develop first-in-kind digital health data connectivity platform for industry leading ophthalmic surgical devices.
* Generate and maintain system and sub-system level requirements based on user needs and platform use cases, establish traceability to software requirements, specification documents, verification testing protocol, and system validation
* As a system engineer lead accountable to ensure that technical implementation of assigned SW sub-system(s) and device network connectivity meet the user needs and system requirements.
* Develop, review, and challenge data flow requirements, use cases and data connectivity strategy
* Collaborates with in-house or 3rd party cross-functional software design teams to define system and sub-system requirements for Device/Data Connectivity (IHE, HL7, FHIR, DICOM), Network Gateway, and Cloud Applications
* Create and maintain design history file artifacts including product requirement traceability matrix (PRTM) and risk management report.
