What's the role? The Team

We're the Technical Accounting team - a dynamic, agile team that's responsible for tracking usage of all HERE services for licensing and billing. We are looking for you to help us define and deliver the next generation location-centric development environment - specifically focusing on tracking usage across our platform services. We're passionate about providing visibility into consumption patterns and helping customers understand their costs. We enjoy collaborating with teams across many regions, learning from each other, and experimenting with the latest technologies in data processing. The Role

Located in the HERE Burlington office, you will help us build best-in-class services that enable HERE OLP customers to understand their application and platform usage, be directly responsible for development and delivery of the self-service APIs and services. Some detailed responsibilities include the following:

* Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
* Design and implement REST-APIs
* Design and develop highly scalable data processing services, SQL queries
* Build and deploy microservices using Kubernetes
* Support production issues both directly and indirectly with customers
* Collaborate closely with other engineers and SREs to deliver high quality software

Who are you?

You are a principal level software engineer who is a collaborative, creative problem solver with an interest in analytics and the following:

* Significant experience in a software engineering or a related field with a proven track-record of delivering products and services
* Experience with Java development
* AWS or other Cloud platform experience
* Work on a wide range of projects with flexibility and a desire to learn
* Experience in an agile environment with code reviews and peer programming
* Experience with database and cloud technologies such as AWS S3, EMR, HDFS, Flink, kafka, Redshift, RDS, RDBMS and SQL
