Job Description

The purpose of this position is to create software products and development processes for medical device products as well as IOL automation and optical inspection instrumentation with emphasis on results, creativity, and collaboration.

Major Accountabilities

* Develop software used to control devices used to measure and inspect IOLs
* Implement test methods developed by Metrology Team
* Develop software that may be used on systems that are used in manufacturing environments
* Develop Web applications that are used by Doctors to determine the IOL Model/Power required to best meet patients' needs
* Design Database schemas that will be used to collect data from R&D and Manufacturing Instruments and measurement devices.
* Develop software used to collect measurement and inspection data from R&D and Manufacturing Instruments and measurement devices and analyze that data
