Job Description

Job Overview:

The Platform Engineer is a key member of the Platform Engineering team and will be responsible for executing a vision for building software, systems and integrations that complement existing business enablement software and services. The Platform Engineer operates across organizational and technology "silos" to implement systems and platforms that facilitate seamless integration between multi-cloud systems and SaaS applications. This role works closely with Information Security, Technology and Business Subject Matter Experts, IT and Business Leaders. The Platform Engineer will report to the Associate Director, Platform Engineering within the Corporate Infrastructure Shared Services Team.

Qualifications:

* Contribute to the analysis and design of the systems needed to meet evolving technical and business requirements. This includes assessment of new products and methods, developing and implementing appropriate integration practices across multiple applications, operating systems, and delivery models (Cloud).
* Evaluate inventory and/or migration of current integration patterns, identifying missing capabilities and making recommendations on best practices in closing the gaps.
* Re-engineer and maintain an enterprise wide view of integration patterns and capabilities across all business systems.
* Closely work with Data Engineer, Application Administrators and BI Developers to deliver efficient and scalable enterprise systems.
* Support and update systems integration flows with data flows that align to evolving business processes.
* Envision how all parts of a solution interact with each other, existing systems architecture, and the solution itself.
* Document and present information in a clear and concise manner to cross-operational teams.
* Develop and/or document processes to evolve with business and demand.
* Drive successful integrations with internal and external teams, including vendors.
* Assist project and change managers with functional requirement definition and development related questions.
* Define and documents solution architecture for applications.
* Perform integration work on systems and data integration patterns.
* Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS core competencies.



EEO Statement:

* A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Integration systems such as MuleSoft, Informatica or other middleware solutions.
* Experience evaluating Integration systems for business and technical architectural needs.
* Interface architecture knowledge with one or more SaaS packaged solutions (Salesforce, Microsoft Office).
* Experience with API Management, REST, SOA integration technologies, SAML, and OAuth.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects.
* Familiarity with multiple programming environments and toolsets.
* Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
* Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Jira, etc…).
* Demonstrated skills in helping negotiate priorities and resolving conflicts among project stakeholders.
* Experience with MySQL or Azure SQL

* Power BI and/or Tableau Data Modeling desirable
