IT&S delivers technology strategy and solutions to our Dropbox business partners so they can work confidently, move fast and scale effortlessly for future growth. We are the accelerator to the Dropbox business engine. We think of our team as a future-focused city planner for the Dropbox neighborhoods. We'll help you source and implement the right technology solution, then fit it into exactly the right place so that everything flawlessly flows, integrates and performs.

Role Description

The Physical Security Infrastructure Administrator will be responsible for the day to day operations, design and implementation of Dropbox's physical security infrastructure. You will help lead Dropbox into its next phase of success by developing and scaling new and existing technologies aimed at helping keep secure Dropboxers and all of Dropbox's offices.

Responsibilities

* Build, scale, deploy, and support our global physical security infrastructure in all of our worldwide offices.
* Responsible for people management of a team of engineers, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports
* Be hands-on with our security infrastructure with deep technical experience in networking, systems, and software.
* Operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapt quickly to new information, and re-prioritize as needed
* Proactively identify resource needs, including participating in recruiting efforts and hiring to grow the team
* Guide in developing and maturing our automation capabilities for physical security, based upon analyzing and identifying significant opportunities where automation can tackle volume, systemic or critical operational/repeatable issues.

* Help with monitoring, alerting and automation tools to empower the physical security team with visibility and data to make informed decisions.

Requirements

* 10+ years technical experience in physical security infrastructure including hands on deployment, configuration and management of physical security infrastructure.
* Knowledge of basic networking, system administration (mainly windows) and physical security hardware.
* Experience with engineering design of solution to secure buildings.
* Experience in defining and developing cutting edge technical road-maps to meet the needs of a growing company and select the best of breed in car readers, bluetooth technologies, RFID, cameras, environmental sensors, presence sensors.
* Knowledge and hands-on experience working with basic networking protocols and sub-netting.
* Passion for driving continual improvement initiatives on the physical security infrastructure to improve availability, performance, agility and unit cost.
* Expertise and hands on experience with Avigilon hardware stack.
* Experience working with networking vendors, telecom carriers, transit providers, etc.
* Knowledge of methods and procedures for managing instrumentation, automation, and orchestration
* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to efficiently handle a variety of multiple concurrent projects at a time and work with his team.
* BA/BS degree from a 4-year university/professional school or equivalent; work experience accepted.
* Expertise in Avigilon ACM and ACC.
