Position Summary:

Segue Technologies seeks a Senior Pega System Architect that can provide technical support to rapidly deploy Pega applications for our government clients. This is a full-time remote position. Preferred locations are Arlington, VA and Dayton, OH. Pega Senior System Architect Certification or higher certification level is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Work with Segue team members and our clients to help elicit business capability requirements to facilitate proper application deployment
* Lead the architecture design, build, and deployment of new enterprise-wide Pega platform in an agile environment
* Mentor and support junior-level system Developers to cultivate and sustain Pega expertise for the organization
* Utilize Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) to manage requirements backlog, maintain code versions, release notes and testing scripts, and track time utilization
* Design Pega Government Platform architecture, including integration with external APIs and implementation in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
* Implement Pega best practices and system improvements
* Apply Agile Scrum processes and Pega Agile Studio in designing and leading implementation of an enterprise-wide Pega solution in AWS supporting multiple Pega applications
* Lead Pega team in analyzing the business needs and the environment to ensure Pega solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment and strategy for employing new functionality and enhancements
* Identify new opportunities to optimize performance and efficiency of processes and reporting through digital solutions
* Support Segue Business Development in customer meetings related to Pega opportunities and engagements as required
* Additional tasks as required

Required Skills and Experience:

* Pega Senior System Architect Certification or higher certification level
* 5+ years of experience in developing Business Process Management and Business Rules Engines applications on Pega platform
* Must possess knowledge in writing test plan, test cases, RTM. Should be able to create test suites and automate test cases using PEGA framework
* Extensive understanding and knowledge of Pega RULES Process Commander (PRPC)
* Experience designing and creating Rules, Flows, Activities, Reports etc. using Pega RULES Process Commander V8/7/6.x/5.x
* Experience in PEGA upgrade
* Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment.
* Strong Object-Oriented design, implementation skills
* Agile Development Methodology, especially PegaSCRUM
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
* Familiarity with various process modeling techniques (activity hierarchy diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, workflow diagrams, system interface diagrams)
* Knowledge of Pega best practices for workflow and form design
* Knowledge of Pega system administration best practices
* Excellent written and oral communications skills

Desired Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Engineering, or other technical field plus 8 - 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Experience leading projects supporting DoD customers
* Experience with Pega Government Platform (PGP)
* Knowledge of installation and configuration of Pega using a high-availability model in a Cloud environment, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
* 4+ years delivering enterprise scale technical solutions and 2+ years designing and building enterprise scale processes in Pega, including shared frameworks
