Social Club is a technology platform comprised of:
* Services to power our online games, including matchmaking, cloud saves, player stats and leaderboards. * Community building and sustaining features, such as user-generated content and the rapidly expanding Social Club social network. * Game companion applications, including second-screen experiences on mobile, tablet and the web. * Player management and mass communication systems for customer experience and marketing initiatives. * Enforcement tooling and operations for anti-cheat and application security. * Gameplay data pipelines and analytics tools that comprise the Rockstar business intelligence platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on bleeding-edge technology in service of the Social Club platform. You will need to be flexible and ready to face new challenges on a daily basis, including, but not limited to, the following:
* Building connected platform applications and features to meet the evolving needs of a wide variety of stakeholders. * Maintaining, supporting and optimizing code as the platform continues to grow. * Collaborating with technical leadership and publishing stakeholders to identify future needs. * Lending technical expertise to the project planning and prioritization process.
QUALIFICATIONS
* 4+ years experience developing online-connected applications. * Excellent C/C++ programming skills. * Competency in C# and JavaScript. * High levels of self-motivation and a willingness to learn and adapt on the fly. * Passion for games, especially Rockstar titles.
DESIRED
* Prior experience with game development, ideally on current console generation. * Mac OSX development experience. * Anti-Tamper/DRM development experience. * Prior work integrating with gaming platforms like Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Steam. * Experience working with remote or distributed development teams.
