USIT is searching for a Senior Oracle Developer to join our development team to support our customer-facing Project

The position is Fully Funded

Oracle Developer 11g - 12c EBS with Oracle Forms / Reports /PL SQL Development Experience.

* Must have a U.S. Security Clearance or
* Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a U.S. Security Clearance Background investigation

Work Location: Onsite in Germantown, MD -

There is no Budget for relocation or Travel for this position.

Pay Rate - DOE - Depending on Experience

Job Description/Responsibilities:

This position provides Senior technical support to a federal government client, including:

* Providing technical design, development, implementation and maintenance support of large scale Enterprise Data Warehouse and Federal Financial applications.
* Providing expert Oracle 11g or 12c Forms and Reports support to various programs as an expert designer and Oracle programmer, including tuning and optimizing packages, stored procedures, PL SQL, and the application in an Oracle 12c environment.
* Support integration of web-based applications running in a Unix / Solaris 11 environment, including supporting the development of scripts.
* Developing software code, interfaces, and reports/ queries to meet customer requirements.

Requirements: Successful candidates should have the following skills/abilities:

* Oracle Forms / Reports /PL SQL
* 10+ years of progressive application development
* Oracle 11g or 12c Forms and Reports
* Unix / Solaris 11
* Should know what Global Temporary Tables are and MV
* 10+ years of progressive application development experience using Oracle databases, including web-based application development tools is required.
* Extensive experience with Oracle PL SQL and Forms and Reports 11g or 12c is required.
* Expertise in all aspects of the modern software development lifecycle development approaches that integrate IT security, and implementing production quality applications including the development of Unix scripting.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface directly with customers.
* Expertise in Oracle development tools including Oracle Developer Suite 11g or 12c, Oracle Forms / Reports on Solaris for the Web Tier, and Solaris platforms for the Oracle DB tier;
* Ability to analyze complex inputs and translate data into well-defined system requirements.

Desired

* Familiarity with tools such as Toad are desirable.
* Experience with products such as TIBCO, software version control (Mercurial) and similar tools is a plus.
