Required skills/experience: Administration of Oracle and PostGres, SQL, troubleshooting, optimization, replication, Linux shell.Desired skills/experience: Puppet/Chef, AWS

Experience migrating and upgrading Oracle Databases

Mandatory 1. Demonstrated experience working as s database administrator with Oracle and PostGres.2. Demonstrated knowledge of advanced SQL for query and database design.3. Demonstrated experience with query-troubleshooting/profiling including analyzing query plans.4. Demonstrated database optimization experience using database-monitoring tools.5. Demonstrated experience creating and implementing physical databases from logical data models.6. Demonstrated experience with very large databases or data warehousing.7. Demonstrated experience with database backup and recovery strategies/implementations.8. Demonstrated experience configuring resilient databases with clustering/replication.9. Demonstrated experience using a Linux shell (e.g. bash).Desired1. Demonstrated experience configuring database setup with Puppet/Chef.2. Demonstrated experience with AWS, including RDS.
