Aligned to the Product Data team within Reference Data Services, the position is responsible for operational analysis of instrument data across a wide range of systems. The position will look at instrument data from a "holistic" level and would need to understand how instrument data processing impacts the life cycle of a trade. The position would perform in-depth analysis of key data points and identification of system and operational defects to ensure roll-out of process efficiencies.

The role would participate in the design, development and implementation of process improvements across multiple systems and teams. Demonstrated ability to create use cases, test cases, test results and business requirement documents will be needed. Experience designing controlled processes with appropriate controls, workflow, metrics and KPI is essential.

Qualifications:

* Respond to Front Office Reference Data Inquiries and providing end to end support to client users.
* Collaborate with several teams to facilitate the resolutions of reported queries from client by escalation to product specialists and technical support teams.
* Research, validate, and action data quality reports. Involved in creation designing, developing, and roll-out for data quality reports as requested by Front Office Teams.
* Daily coordination with Middle Office and Front Office Teams for corporate action events to ensure PNL and trading for security is not impacted.
* Maintain Knowledge base via documentation and provide training to business and technical teams for reported problems and steps for resolving problems based on lessons learned.
* University degree
* Strong SQL skills
* Have experience with Equity & Fixed Income Trade processing (STP) in a client facing environment
* The candidate would have a good knowledge and working experience (3+ years minimum) of global markets and securities reference data
* Solid project management skills / experience
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Self-starter and ability to operate with minimum supervision
* Business Analysis skills / experience would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be pro-active with an analytical approach to work.
* Must be flexible, priorities, work to deadlines and ensure queries resolved in a timely manner

Provides technical and analytical support in a global markets operations function for one or more operations product areas. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May manage projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes, coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products. As a technical expert, may also function as an informal team lead, providing work direction and technical guidance to less experienced employees in resolving complex transactions and operational problems. Requires extensive experience in an operations support function with thorough working knowledge of fundamental business structure and operational aspects for specific transactions and products. As a technical expert, will consult on a wide variety of topics across functional and business support lines.
