We at Perspecta are currently seeking an Operations Task Lead in Washington DC to support our government customer - Public Trust.
The Operations Task Lead will be responsible for the following:
* Utilizes one or in combination with the following Microsoft Azure tools: System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM), Service Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Operations Management Suite (OMS).
* Supports Windows and Linux based environments for GOT, COTS, custom and mobile applications.
* Performs Operations Management oversight of application and database physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure.
* Leads Request for Service (RFS), Request for Change (RFC) intake, planning and execution using Remedy.
* Monitors Change Log maintenance, prioritization and workload planning.
* Does Project effort, risk and complexity estimating, schedule and task planning.
* Ensures security of application data, and patch level compliance of application, databases and host environments.
* Supports Change Control Board (CCB) procedures.
* Supports continuous deployment with DevOPS tools, planning and agile processes and thinking.
* Support ISO 20000 and ITIL processes.
In addition, the Operations Task Lead will support the following activities:
* Support ATS Administrative and change control procedures, ITIL and ISSO 2000
* Microsoft Azure and or AWS frameworks, including PowerShell, Microsoft OPS tools: System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM), Service Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Operations Management Suite (OMS).
* Impacts and Responds to service requests, incidents, and request for change tickets. Analyze resolve and document resolution to tickets.
* Work closely with business users and IT specialists, as well as with outside vendors, to plan, deploy, and maintain applications, databases, and VMware.
* Work closely with project teams and customers to adhere to security policies and processes.
* Develop, update, and maintain technical and operational documentation.
* Develop and document O&M processes.
* Participate on project teams.
* Provide guidance and advice on improvements to environments, emerging technologies, and best practices.
* Plan, coordinate and execute O&M activities
* Support Monthly Application and database COOP drills
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
* Bachelors Degree
* 10 years relevant experience
