Job Description

Seeking an Network Project Manager Contractor to join our team at a leading network solutions client in San Francisco, CA.

Requirements:

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

* Manage, mentor and lead project team resources in order to facilitate successful project completion.
* Directs any customer requests, inquiries and/or concerns to appropriate individual(s) as needed.
* Make sure Statement of Work and Project Plan is accurate and updated weekly
* Process any needed change orders
* Weekly conference calls or on site calls with customer and project team
* Review any documentation from engineers before going to customer
* Communicates status of projects on a regular basis
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
* Manage projects through to completion as needed including after hours and weekends if necessary.

Qualifications:

* Must have over 7 years of relevant industry experience in a Project Management role (IT/Networking)
* Current PMP certification
* Previous experience working with a Cisco VAR (Value Added Reseller) a plus
* Ability to develop a complex project plan and manage a or lead a large complex project
* Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skill set
* Ability to open and close work-orders
* Must be able to work in a team environment
* Ability to correctly interpret and follow work instructions
* Ability to work with clients and engineers
* Ability to juggle and finish multiple tasks
* Strong communications skills with excellent documentation and follow up skills
* Strong technical and professional
* BS or equivalent IT industry experience
