Job Description

OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Thought Leader with a strong background in network integration to join our team! You will be part of the leadership team for a large-scale, logistically complex technology refresh program for large enterprise client.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience with a technology vendor or systems integrator selling, designing, and implementing Cisco systems and solutions using Cisco Infrastructure.

This candidate will also have experience utilizing industry standard wireless tools to design wireless solutions. Experience with ISE a plus.

This person will be part of the program leadership team reporting to the Director of the Program

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Serve as a "hands on" design and implementation engineer
* Create and update all technical design and implementation processes for the program
* Ability and experience working with wireless survey tools such as Ekahau or Air magnet
* Analyze wireless survey data and be capable of reporting and communicating details to Senior Level Executives
* Serve as engineering lead and technical resource on implementation projects, providing guidance to the engineers to ensure successful project delivery
* Accurately understanding and documenting client environment for pre and post project designs
* Achieving and maintaining industry standard certifications aligned with Custom's core competencies as directed by supervisor
* Monitoring technical service delivery against Program SLA's.
* Point of escalation for field engineers who need direction or support during implementation

QUALIFICATIONS

* 5 years' experience in being a member of a leadership team of a large-scale project
* In-depth technical skills with Networking technologies
* In depth knowledge on the use of wireless tools and ability to analyze the data
* Willing to do whatever it takes (no job to big or too small)
* Must be willing to work 2nd shift hours (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) at client sites through NYC as needed.
* Strong influencing skills

* Ability to quickly get up to speed on contractual requirements and standards
* Experience in Quality Management
* Cisco CCNA or greater Certification, prefer CCNP Wireless
* Strong communication and skills
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Solid aptitude across Microsoft Office Suite - especially Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
* Proficient in English
* Must have access to a vehicle to travel

The position is based in Hauppauge, LI and will require extensive travel into the five boroughs of New York City.
