Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

* Resolve customer requests with moderate complexity for new and/or modified network infrastructure.
* Participate in and/or lead projects of medium to large complexity.
* Participate in and/or lead integration and testing of network solutions, ensuring high quality
* Produce installation and test documentation
* Participate in the resolution of moderately complex network problems and in the development and documentation of infrastructure applications
* Become the technical expert for a large number of network products and technologies
* Develop and/or control the development of qualification plans/test specifications/test cases/ sets of regression tests, for new hardware/new and enhanced software releases of network components
* Participate in requirements/design reviews of new products to ensure testability and become acquainted with new products.
* Propose and lead the development of test automation and test automation tools.
* Depending on the team needs, participate to design and development activities in own area of expertise

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics, or relevant field
* 5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications.
* Solid understanding of routing, switching, firewall, VPN technologies (IPSec, PKI) and network provisioning
* General knowledge of UNIX (HP-UX / Solaris) command line and shell scripting is preferred
* Knowledge in test automation (using scripting and / or automation tools) is a must
* Experience in testing (E2E testing, performance testing) is a must
* Knowledge in testing methodology/risk management is mandatory
* Knowledge in virtualization (VMWare) and Software Defined Networks is a strong asset
* Knowledge of cloud technologies is a strong asset
* Knowledge of RHEL administration and deployments is a strong asset
* Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus
