Job Description

TASC, an Engility Company, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a team of dedicated network engineers who supporting numerous customers in a mission critical environment. Candidates must be smart, passionate self-starters and be able to solve complex problems with minimal supervision. A desirable candidate can expect to work in a fast paced, highly technical, and highly rewarding environment.

Candidates will also have direct interaction with customers on a daily basis, which also results in a rewarding experience of being directly involved with the mission. This allows the Network Engineer to be able to shape the technological direction of the mission and will have a direct influence on customer solutions. Duties include designing, implementing, and maintaining national security systems and serving as a trusted adviser for the government customer. Occasional CONUS travel (5 - 15%) required with the ability to travel OCONUS.

Candidates must have working knowledge of:

* WAN/LAN routing protocols.
* Firewall and/or security products
* Network troubleshooting
* Operations and Maintenance
* Government and commercial encryption products

Responsibilities will include:

* Design, install, operate, and support high priority WAN/MAN/LANs in many locations
* Design reliable communication networks used to support the highest decision makers.
* Develop secure solutions to challenging problems
* Will primarily with Cisco equipment.
* Network design is required to ensure proper separation between customers by use of MPLS VPNS and Ethernet over MPLS.
* Implement the use of Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Networks (DMVPNs), IP Sec, and Layer 2 Tunneling Protocols.
