Job Description:
This is a Software Lead position for the within the Digital Systems Integration Lab (DSIL) team. In this position, you will be applying your knowledge and experience to lead the development of a product from within a product line. The software lead will drive the current development effort as well as the product architecture to ensure that the program is able to anticipate and adapt to user and environmental changes for years to come. The deployed project will be managed across multiple configurations in programs spread throughout the company. This position will also allow you to mentor junior engineers and drive DevOps improvements across the entire product line. You may also have access to work in other areas of the company which allows for more diversity in growth, development, and exposure for future opportunities.
Required Skills:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or related STEM degree
* 10+ of engineering experience
* Experience leading software teams > 5 engineers
* Experience in C, C++, Python, Java
* Experience with DevOps tools (Continuous Integration, Unit testing, etc.)
* Experience with SQL databases
* Computer background
* Experience with Windows & Unix development
* Active Secret Clearance - Current
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Desired Skills:
* Master's Degree/PhD in relevant field and/or related STEM degree
* Experience with radar systems
* Team oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills
* Experience managing efforts that are used by multiple programs at multiple security levels
* Experience working with FOSS in a secure environment and handling associated obsolescence / migration path planning
* Experience with PostgreSQL
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
