Job Description

The IT Operations Analyst - Financial Systems is responsible for daily administrative operations on modern cloud Oracle financial systems. This role will intake maintenance support tickets and execute various operational steps within various systems and will be responsible for data integration. This position reports to a Senior Support Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

* Affect chart of account changes within various systems
* Maintain data within Oracle DRM in response to chart of account requests/tickets.
* Monitor, troubleshoot and report on data integrations between DRM and various upstream and downstream applications that consume DRM data or provide inputs to the Modern Financials Suite
* Maintain all configurations within various systems that are impacted by chart of account/dimension changes.
* Build and Maintain Cross Validation Rules within Oracle Cloud ERP
* Build and Maintain Valid Intersections within Oracle EBPCS
* Identify and Maintain Data Manager changes within ePBCS in response to chart of account changes
* Open and Close of Accounting Calendars in ERP and related maintenance in reporting systems for Kaplan
* Load and maintain exchange rates interface from Oanda to various financial systems
* Maintain and assign roles to end users based on approved service requests
* Build and Maintain Security Groups in reporting systems
* Create reports and forms as requested in ePBCS and Oracle
* Deploy changes to Global reports, etc as per established change management processes.
* Coordinate data fixes/issue resolution related to DRM and related financial systems, involving multiple teams/stakeholders
* Document and execute various operational steps required to maintain a healthy cloud based financial systems environment.
* Liaise with infrastructure internal/external hosting partners to resolve issues
* Interact with Oracle's support portal to troubleshoot and resolve product related issues
* Participate in standard IT change management process to impact change to various applications

Minimum Qualifications

* BS in Computer Science, IT or a related field
* Accounting/Finance Knowledge a plus
* 3+ years' experience in executing functional administration including managing chart of accounts/dimensions on Oracle Financial Systems using DRM as the source.
* A very good understanding of dimensions/hierarchies and master data/metadata management for reporting systems. Working knowledge with RDBMS and multi-dimensional databases
* High level understanding of typical user security models in Oracle based Financial systems.
* A very good understanding of SQL and an ability to write queries for analysis/troubleshooting and ad hoc reporting
* Working knowledge of windows scripting and DOS bat file commands
* An understanding of chart of account maintenance within Financial Systems a plus
* Comfortable both supporting daily Operation Tasks, security management/reporting and managing small IT Projects (such as quarterly upgrades)
* Ability to initiate support incident tickets both internally and with Oracle, work and bring them to completion with minimal support
* Ability to learn operational steps of financials systems and execute test scripts and report bugs to product owners and vendors
* Strong written and verbal skills
