Responsibilities:

* Design, develop and test mobile software applications using iOS or Android
* Experience with developing services using Java, Spring, Hibernate, JSON and XML
* Design and implement complex technological solutions in a fast paced environment.
* Partner with other engineers and work with cross-functional teams such as product management, program management and service delivery to deliver high performing applications.
* Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers with design and implementation of applications.
* Follow agile development practices: SCRUM or KANBAN

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required
* 5+ years of experience with mobile application development using iOS, android or both
* 5+ years with RDBMS (Oracle/MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB or similar)
* 3+ years of experience in design and development of highly available enterprise software applications/services using technologies such as Java, JEE, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Spring, Hibernate, XML, XSD, JSON, Maven
* Proficient in object oriented principles, design patterns and unit testing using (JUnit or similar)
* Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies

Nice to have

* Experience with banking/financial app development
* Cloud experience with GCP, Azure or AWS a plus
