Regional Practice Lead, Applied Innovation

We are growing our regional footprint and seeking strong technology business leaders that have demonstrated abilities to work with large clients to listen and understand their needs, articulate creative and innovative solutions to their needs and to grow the consulting capabilities and team inside the region.

Our Applied Innovation team delivers on the promise of digital transformation by modernizing complex line of business applications, developing innovative solutions leveraging the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure cloud platforms, and by empowering our clients with compelling insights through the use of modern data tools, techniques, dashboards, IoT and data science.

The Regional Practice Lead is a market making role for New Signature. Your success in this role is directly related to your ability to work with both clients and internal stakeholders to articulate a strategic approach to solutions for our client's business requirements and to work with the Applied Innovation team in your region to deliver on the strategy. You will work directly with our Business Development team to build trusted relationships with regional clients, to build account plans and strategies, to engage with and build regional presence for the Applied Innovation consulting team and lead a strong, client-focused consulting workforce. You have proven ability to build relationships, think creatively, understand the sales process and drive technology & delivery excellence.

The Regional Practice Lead participates in all regional strategic, growth and core account planning activities, facilitates sales enablement for the Business Development team and provides quality assurance and technical delivery oversight for projects in the region. The Regional Practice Lead is a thought leader who, in conjunction with the Global Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead for Applied Innovation, provides strategic guidance to consultants about building skills and staying relevant in our fast-changing industry.

At a high level, the Regional Practice Lead for Applied Innovation will work directly with the Regional VP of Business Development to develop go-to-market plans, that win strategic business and partner with the Global CoE Lead for Applied Innovation to execute successfully on projects that create transformational outcomes for our clients. The Regional Practice Lead for Applied Innovation reports to the Regional General Manager.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Development

▪ Engage with the Regional Business Development team to build strategic account plans for all clients in the region

▪ Be the 'go to' Applied Innovation consulting team leader for sales pursuits in-region, to coordinate people requirements to win opportunities and engage directly with clients as required to win business

▪ Support, and when required, lead sales efforts with client business decision makers for the Applied Innovation practice in the region

▪ Work with Business Development team members to develop project estimates and deliver presentations to clients

Technology Leadership

▪ Develop relationships with key Microsoft leaders who provide regional clients with guidance on the adoption of cloud technologies related to Applied Innovation

▪ Provide technical oversight and coaching to consultants who are delivering client project work within the region

▪ Become known as a thought leader inside of New Signature and in the marketplace by writing blogs, presenting at company-sponsored events and/or speaking at conferences

People Leadership

▪ Provide oversight to consultants throughout project delivery by engaging in team communications and offering escalation support and guidance

▪ Contribute to the growth of our Applied Innovation team by interviewing recruits and working with third-party partners as needed to staff and deliver client engagements

▪ Provide coaching and mentorship to Applied Innovation consultants in-region to ensure they are both engaged and prepared to deliver high-quality results for our clients

Teamwork

▪ Partner with the Global CoE Lead for Applied Innovation to expand the regional consulting workforce and to develop new offerings to take to market

▪ Participate in practice level planning, go to market strategy development, thought leadership for the Applied Innovation Practice

▪ Engage with the Workforce Operations team to plan and grow the capabilities of the Applied Innovation team to deliver on in region project work

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

▪ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or other

▪ 10+ Years of relevant work experience

▪ Knowledge of the consulting organization, team structure, operations, delivery models, project implementation and talent pool

▪ Deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, cloud technologies, application development methodologies

Skills and Abilities

▪ Entrepreneurial approach to business, team and client interactions

▪ Proven experience leading teams to deliver complex client project work

▪ Outstanding demonstrated verbal and written communication

▪ Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills

Travel Requirements

* Regional travel required - approximately 50%
