Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as Manager, Software Product Team

This role is the manager position for the Test Data Management group.

This group is responsible for the application used internally for the quality control release process at a large medical device consumables manufacturing site. This application is being upgraded for expanded use at additional internal company sites with central application management in Walpole.

This role will focus on the resource management associated with daily user support and product change projects associated with the application. This position will leverage a person's experience with management of a software product team that is working on multiple projects that are competing for resources and managing resource requirement for daily product support. The person in this position must be familiar with Agile methods and preferably has been a Scrum Master on projects.

The software application was built using Microsoft Visual Studio tools and coding in C# and uses an Oracle database. The application is migrating to use of Microsoft TFS for the change control, documentation and automated regression testing of software applications. This new deployment of TFS will require the manager to play a key role in driving this transition from the current software management tool.

The position will also leverage knowledge of requirements document development and validation of software. This position reports to the senior manager of the Controls and Automation group and provides an opportunity to be a key player in the site's operation.

* You will have Personnel management experience


* You will lead software lifecycle management


* You will oversee software version release content


* You will oversee document test strategy and test plans


* You will lead mitigation of risks identified through use of risk identification tools


* You will ensure appropriate documentation and use of TFS


* You will have project oversight of new software product versions


* You will oversee validation strategy for new installations or modifications


* You will drive implementation of software changes in a regulated environment

* 10+ years experience


* Experience being a Scrum Master on projects.

* Education: Computer Science, Software Engineering or Science background with relevant experience


* Management of software product team


* Stakeholder driven customer focused support


* Direct personnel management responsibility


* Strong written and verbal communication skills


* Working Knowledge of:


* Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
* Relational databases and SQL
* Managing software product lifecycle
* Agile methodology
