BASIC FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for managing a client-facing analytics team in the delivery and presentation of plan performance information & recommendations to large HCSC employer groups across multiple market segments. The role requires solid understanding of client strategy, strong relationship-building with internal/ external clients & business partners, analytical-thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Critical Functions include: Enhancing consistent best practices across the team, appropriately aligning team resources and account assignments, performance management, talent management development, hiring, and recruiting of staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance OR 4 years' experience.
* 5 years' experience interfacing with external clients, large employers, brokers, or consultants.
* 5 years' experience in requiring data analysis and information reporting related to healthcare data.
* 2 years leadership experience.
* Negotiation, decision making, organizational, and analytical skills.
* Verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
* PC proficiency to include Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Profession designation such as Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (C.E.B.S.)
* Experience in a supervisory/management position.
* Experience in cost containment consultation.
* Experience in Project Management.
