About Talent Technology Team

The Talent Technology team provides technology solutions to support our most valuable resource, our employees. We partner with the business to evaluate, implement and support global strategic talent tools across IPG Mediabrands. The team currently manages technology solutions for Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, and Learning. In addition, we are pulled in as Subject Matter Experts to consult on other talent initiatives that have a technology component as needed.

Overview of your role

In the Global HR Technology Manager position you will partner with various business stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and support our strategic talent technology solutions. As product owner and subject matter expert, you will work with the business to understand challenges, gather business requirements, and design and implement solutions to drive the business strategy. An initial key focus will be the design, build and global implementation of a new recruitment platform, but will include other platforms as required. The role will be in partnership and supported by a System Administrator, and report to the VP Global HR Technology.

Essential Functions

The primary area of focus initially will be the global roll-out of a new recruitment platform, but will have opportunity for growth into other products. You will work with key business stakeholders to ensure that our technology solutions solve business challenges and drive our overall strategy.

Key areas of focus include:

* Work with various stakeholders to fully understand business priorities & challenges.
* Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Lead the design, build, and implementation of the global recruitment platform.
* Create, manage and maintain project plans; outlining tasks, deliverables, and dependencies; managing timelines; identifying and mitigating risks; and coordinating efforts in the technology portfolio.
* Create Standard Templates and maintain technical documentation, e.g.
* Project Implementation plans
* Workflow Configurations
* Build Documentation
* Key Project Status Points
* RACI charts
* SWOT Analysis


* Create training modules and lead platform training to all system users ensuring they understand how to fully optimize the tool to meet their needs.
* Develop and execute adoption strategies to ensure that all systems are leveraged as broadly and effectively as possible.
* Explore new configuration/functionality needed and continue to evolve and enhance the product/s
* Where required, identify and vet additional vendors to address any gaps.
* Own and Run weekly update meetings with Key Project Status Points
* Escalate critical path dependencies and highlight project deadlines to keep projects on track.
* Create dashboards for project status updates.
* Take on additional product responsibility as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

Work Experience:

* A background working with and implementation talent technology solutions
* Experience building and implementing recruitment platforms, preferably globally.
* Experience managing multiple talent related technology projects simultaneously.

Skills:

* Strong business analysis skills, with an ability to easily translate complex technical concepts into simple technical solutions.
* Solid project management skills with proven experience leading large complex projects, preferably on a global scale.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, manage conflicting priorities adeptly, and move projects forward with support of the system administrator.
* Ability to retain composure and professionalism in high pressure situations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read the audience and adjust communication style to fit the needs of your partners
* Familiarity with data privacy concepts as relate to employee and candidate data, especially the European GDPR laws, a plus
