Master Software Engineer - Java

Responsibilities:

* Work with business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical needs of systems, and determine priority of needs.
* Ensure adherence to defined development life cycle, good software design practices, and Architecture strategy and intent
* Collaborate with performing teams to deliver new capabilities in business applications and/or remediate issues.
* Enforce company policies in areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change and configuration management, and compliance.
* Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment
* Analyze and estimate feasibility, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
* Code, test and implement custom solutions with a "You Build You Own" philosophy
* Coordinate and enforce coding standards, performance and ATDD testing, automated pipeline deployments of solutions for the overall team
* Responsible for key system design and integration decisions; and for communicating decisions to individuals implementing the system.
* An understanding of why and how to build products that are accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
* At least 8 years of SDLC experience using Java EE technologies
* At least 4 year of experience in one of the following: RDBMS, SQL, No-SQL, RDS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or DynamoDB
* At least 2 years experience in one of the following Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Ansible, Chef or Terraform

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree
* 10+ years of experience in object-oriented in Java
* 8+ years' experience in Java, J2EE, Web Services, RESTFUL APIs, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSON and XML
* 5+ years experience coding and using Javascript Frameworks such as AngularJS, Jquery and NodeJS
* 5+ years experience with one of the following Web services like SOAP, REST and JSON
* 5+ years experience in one of the following Build and CICD technologies: lSVN, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus or Sonar
* 3 year of experience in AWS or similar cloud computing environments with infrastructure and configuration management tools like Ansible, Docker and Mesos
