Job Description

Marketing Web Developer is responsible for general web development pertaining to marketing projects and the digital marketing stack. Participates as a technical expert and utilizes thorough knowledge of front end development to execute marketing initiatives. Assists in managing a variety of online touchpoints and contributes to projects ranging from simple content updates to integrations of software systems.

* Performs general content updates on the primary LFCU.com site as well as multi-platform landing pages and other touchpoints in conjunction with internal & external resources.
* Performs more complex html and CSS updates as needed.
* Takes ownership of web development projects including coordinating with internal stakeholders; routinely updates project status.
* Creates trackable links (using URL parameters) to monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
* Verifies website content to ensure accuracy; utilizes site monitoring software to identify errors such as misspellings & broken links.
* Acts as a technical resource for SaaS platforms in the marketing stack, such as implementing or troubleshooting API connections. Software platforms may include Sitecore, Hubspot, TimeTrade, SiteImprove, Bazaarvoice, Unbounce, Swiftype, Zapier, and CallRail.
* Ensures cross-platform/cross-browser functionality, navigability, usability, and accessibility of websites and other digital marketing assets.
* Assures that web content supports marketing strategies, including SEO and SEM.
* Makes recommendations to optimize online opportunities, strategizing all online options and solutions.
* Works closely with IT staff to assure that web applications work correctly and to suggest new features or enhancements.
* Reviews, renews, and updates content on websites to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information presented.
* Serves as the web/digital consultant for the department, including recommendations, updates, problem-solving, and quality assessments.
* Understands and articulates overall vision of the marketing data stack to convert requirements into technical architecture or implementable design.
* Adheres to the company's design and style guidelines.
* Actively provides status updates using project-management software.
* Assists in QA and code reviews to assure the website meets specified requirements.

Education and/or Experience

Must have:

* 2 + years of experience in UX development. Completion of certification program/degree is a plus.
* Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
* Working knowledge of the latest web design trends including experience with responsive web design. • CMS (content management system) experience such as Sitecore, Wordpress, Drupal, and Joomla.
* Experience with marketing automation systems such as Hubspot, Marketo, Infusionsoft, preferred.
* Experience with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager preferred.
* Knowledge of HTML5, CSS 3+, Javascript, .NET, jQuery, Angular.js (or any other Javascript MVC frameworks) is a plus.
* Ability to write code in notepad or other text based editors is a plus.
