DescriptionManager - Competency, Assessments & Career Management

Summary of Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the Senior Manager - Talent Planning & Performance, this position is responsible for the research, strategy, implementation, and management of competency, assessment and career-related initiatives that increase organizational performance. This role provides full-scale project management, expertise, and ongoing consulting to senior leaders and HR partners across the organization.

Job Description:

* In partnership with HRBPs and business leaders, define competencies, proficiency levels, skills and behavioral indicators for roles across the organization.
* Create success profiles and ensure alignment with talent strategy and desired culture.
* Collaborate with Learning & Development team to identify experiences and learning opportunities critical to the development of core competencies and skills (e.g. formal training, job rotation, cross-functional or temporary assignment, executive coaching)
* Design and deploy tools, materials, and practices that ensure competency models are integrated across HR functions
* Develop career maps that display a systematic progression (vertically and laterally) of roles throughout the organization
* Manage portfolio of assessments (360's, Hogan, MBTI, etc.) and advise on usage and best-in-class practices
* Integrate organizational values and Leadership Framework into the competency and assessment strategy
* Support development of templates and tools for career development conversations
* Develop set of quantifiable measures to evaluate the effectiveness of the competency architecture, including a mechanism to gather feedback from employees, managers, and other users.
* Lead projects from discovery and design through to completion (e.g., develop project plan, lead meetings, etc.)

QualificationsKnowledge and Skill Requirements:

* BA/BS with 8+ years of progressive experience in Leader Development and/or Organization Development
* MA/MS/MBA in Human Resources, Organizational Development/Psychology or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
* Advanced project and program management skills, to include planning and execution; demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and manage the change process; lead multiple complex projects simultaneously within aggressive timeframes with minimal supervision.
* Successful track record designing and managing multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
* Impeccable customer service, interpersonal, and team building skills
* Must be proactive, a self-starter, and results oriented
* Ability to partner closely with senior executives and execute quickly
* Flexible and agile in your approach to leveraging data and making rapid decisions
* Willing to get involved in a variety of tasks from high level strategic to detailed and routine tasks
* Flexible and adaptable when dealing with ambiguity, conflicting priorities and crises
* Design and adult learning (e.g., ADDIE Model, Design Thinking, Kirkpatrick Model, Bloom's Taxonomy) knowledge
