Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Leveraging analytics, robotics, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, creating and managing large-scale organizational intelligence, and generating insights that catalyze growth and efficiencies. Managing day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients and participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Developing dashboard wireframes and design requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Developing functional specifications, technical designs and source map documentations. Working through Systems Development Life Cycle from requirement gathering, requirement analysis, technical documentation to code development, test support, and production implementation using Informatica PowerCenter suite, Aptitude Accounting Hub, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise and on premise and cloud databases. Working on Informatica doing quality checks, solving functional and technical issues, developing automated reusable components and developing mappings and workflows. Leading Extract Transform and Load (ETL) in Data quality, Profiling, Performance tuning, Error Strategy and Audit and control framework in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Data Quality, Oracle, SQL, and Aptitude Accounting Hub. Designing, developing and implementing Data warehouse and data mart using ETL workflows for inbound, transformation and outbound layers to process incoming feeds from disparate admin systems in legacy mainframe files, Flat files, and XML files. Defining project plans by coordinating with client and internal management teams and document tracking using Microsoft Project Plan and Implementing projects using Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies. Conducting Interviews and Multiday Blueprinting Labs with key client stakeholders and effectively translated business needs into functional requirements by creating BRDs, functional specs, process maps, flow diagrams, and use cases. Analyzing current state data flows and proposing vetted future state technical architecture based on best practices, learnings and industry standards for Insurance clients with a focus on data driven finance and actuarial service offerings.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Five years of progressively responsible experience as a Manager, Senior Consultant, Consultant, System Engineer, or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have five years of experience with:
* Developing functional specifications, technical designs and source map documentations;


* Working through Systems Development Life Cycle from requirement gathering, requirement analysis, technical documentation to code development, test support, and production implementation using Informatica PowerCenter suite, Aptitude Accounting Hub, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise and on premise and cloud databases;

* In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field and three years of experience.

* 80% travel required.
