Job Description

DUTIES: Responsible for managing search engine engineering team supporting digital advertising products; work with management and subject matter experts to define and achieve business goals; perform regular review of industry technology standards to improve overall relevancy and performance of search engine platform; recommend and evaluate A/B tests for search performance and optimization; lead the design and development of server side and web applications or distributed n-tier applications; architect the solutions for new products and features complying to the functioning of the existing systems; ensure effective requirements gathering from business stakeholders and manage a team of software engineers to implement robust solutions; oversee production support and remediation with monitoring/reporting tools; analyze project requirements and make recommendations; manage and oversee product design, bug verification, remediation, and production support; mediate between multi domain teams by ensuring effective communication channels and adherence to processes for seamless project deliveries; perform project management using Agile/Scrum technology and tools; communicate with Partners, understand problems, create/design solution to remediate it and manage the end to end on-time delivery.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressive experience with the design and development of server side and web applications or distributed n-tier applications. Experience to include therein 3 years with search engine technology stacks, advertising systems in digital marketplace, CI/CD and release management, caching and performance tuning; 3 years using Solr, Lucene, core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot Framework, Hibernate, Machine Learning, Elastic Search, Spring MVC, MySQL, Postgres SQL or similar No-SQL databases; 2 years with REST, SOAP and JSON API design; and 1 year with cloud implementation and design, data modeling, Perl, PHP, Unix shell scripting, and Regular Expressions.
