Job Description

* Serves as the global learning management system analyst supporting initiatives in order to maintain the validated state of the application ensuring data integrity is maintained.
* Serves as Corporate business administrator for Alcon's Learning Management System (Global Plateau) and provides consultation and training management services to GxP customers (end-users and super-users).
* QIS (50%): Supports the management and long-term strategy of system lifecycle documentation including user requirements, system specifications, and testing documentation required for computer system validation and change control.
* Executes the long-term and short-term strategy of the LMS system. Provides user support (super-users and end-users).
* Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
* Supports internal and external audits as the LMS business system owner.
* Supports LMS application deployments to new and acquisition sites.
* Trains users (super-users and end- users) on the use of the learning management system.
* Conducts and coordinates the system periodic user access reviews.
* Processes daily actions required by DCM/GPS interface.
* Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
* Prepares / Revises SOPs / and supports lifecycle documentation in accordance with internal/parent company quality manual requirements and external regulations and standards (e.g. 21 CFR Part 11, 21 CFR 820, 210, 211, ISO/EN ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 62304, GAMP).
* Serves as a backup for the HR Core integration as well as other QIS responsible systems and related business processes where needed.
* Ensures continuous improvement of the training system. GxP Training Administration (50%): Serves as the GxP LMS administrator collaborating for the Corporate business community to support and monitor GxP training effectively and efficiently to the target audience via Plateau.
* Partners with GxP Training Manager on integration of GxP training assignments when needed.
* Supports the development and implementation of role-based curricula for the corporate functions.
* Supports sites without local business administrators with training services (assignments and reporting).
* Publishes and monitors the training metrics related to GxP training support.
* Participates as a member of the Learning Council and Training Networks a as needed.
