Position Summary:

* Responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts and Software Engineers and managing the roadmap delivery and support for a global portfolio of applications in the Logistics space MB applications
* Acts as a Product owner of WMS, Transportation and Other applications in Logistics space, builds partnerships with global Business Leads based on trust and collaboration
* Ability to work in a highly matrix environment, and drive results in a very demanding and challenging work environment

People or Process Management Responsibility:

* Responsible for the road map creation and delivery for the Logistics applications
* Responsible for the acquisition and development of future leaders within Martin Brower IT

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

* Provide thought leadership and support primary-use applications (Manhattan WMOS) and functional areas in the Logistics space.
* Lead and support the analysis and design of system solutions providing assistance and direction to development teams, leveraging agile methodologies
* Lead, review and/or support analysis of the impact of proposed solution across the business, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team, and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews.
* Manage issue resolution with appropriate levels of urgency with customers, helpdesk personnel and software engineers using solid negotiation and conflict management skills, acting as the escalation point for the team. Escalates issues appropriately to management and senior leadership appropriately.
* Monitors project deliverables, milestones and required tasks and helps determine priority, scope, time frames, costs, risks and staffing requirements for projects.
* Works with end-users, project managers, architects, and engineers to define scope and objectives of projects (charters) by developing and maintaining a team environment.
* Reviews the team's deliverables to ensure that EPMO standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation are in place, that project adheres to those standards and procedures, and confirms project tasks/deliverables are completed using established documentation, development and change control procedures.
* Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
* Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or like discipline or equivalent experience
* Experience leading large scale
* 7+ years' related managerial experience in IT or Business, preferably leading and supporting a multi-location, 24x7 distribution organization in the technology space
* 5+ years' experience in IT methodologies, preferably exposure to both Agile and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), with the ability to multitask and manage multiple cross-functional projects.
* 3+ years' managing direct reports, their goals, merit recommendations and development plans
* Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to implementation
* Excellent verbal communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to listen and to communicate effectively and persuasively with individuals and in presentations to groups.
* Excellent written communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to clearly, concisely, and persuasively compose correspondence and narrative reports which communicate messages consistent with company policy to both internal and external audiences, using appropriate tone, grammar, and word usage.
* Experience managing vendors, score carding, RFP creation and vendor selection
* This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Experience:

* Introduction/certification in lean and six sigma concepts
* Manhattan WMOS, Paragon TMS
* Experience in Linux, Oracle, Java technology stacks
