SUMMARY:

AGC Biologics Global IT team is looking for a Corporate Manager of IT. This position is responsible for leading and managing the infrastructure, network operations and project delivery work to enhance and scale the IT infrastructure to meet the needs of the business. In addition, this role has the responsibility of leading the IT help desk organization as it meets the personal compute needs of the user community. We are looking for a passionate individual who can excel in a dynamic environment and who can provide leadership and technical mentorship to the infrastructure and help desk teams'.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, storage, network, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware


* Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative


* Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration


* Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software


* Track and maintain hardware and software inventory


* Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions


* Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions


* Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement


* Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure we offer the best possible service and value for company needs


* Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed


* Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups


* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards


* Vendor relationship management.

* Strong verbal and written communications skills

* Ability to seamlessly manage a variety multiple project simultaneously


* Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups at various levels within the company


* Knowledgeable on future industry trends across the various disciplines


* Demonstrated ability to conduct large scale project management across multiple regions and disciplines


* Deeply well organized, flexible, and responsive


* Strong creative and analytical thinking preferred


* Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems


* Expertise in data center management and data governance


* Good judgement with strong interpersonal relationship, team building, and collaboration skills


* Willing and able to travel

Education/Experience:


* Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science


* 5+ years experience in IT management


* Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, Skype, SQL Server and other Windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring


* Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation


* Professional certifications are highly desired
