The Manager, Digital Workplace Solutions (DWS) is responsible for providing functional, technical and design analysis supporting the organization's Digital Workplace solutions including collaboration, communication, and end user technologies. They participate in, lead components of system delivery, and assures user acceptance. They also identify and investigate operational needs, problems and opportunities, contributing to the implementation of improvements.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the Digital Workplace Champions Network; identifying business challenges, prioritizing business needs and discussing 'art of the possible' across the enterprise
* Identifies, proposes, initiates and leads implementation of various DWS technologies based on the strategic direction and prioritization coming from DW Steering Committee and Champions Network
* Assess emerging technologies within collaboration, communication, and end user technology as well as ancillary technologies.
* Define and deliver governance for the DWS technologies including provisioning, naming conventions, and data retention
* Analyzes and documents business requirements for certain business functions that required integration with DWS technologies, e.g. Facilities, Corporate Communication
* Develops and assists in the presentation of business cases and DWS technology roadmaps
* Develops preliminary project budgets. Assists in monitoring and reporting on projects.
* Manage relationships with various vendors such as Microsoft and Cisco
* Responsible for release and cycle management of collaboration, communication, and end user technology
* Represent the digital workplace in change, problem, and incident management
* Work with infrastructure, IT Support, and IT Security for awareness and change compatibility
* Responsible for Azure assets associated to digital workplace technologies such as cloud data containers, notification center, databases, analytics, etc.
* Manage time efficiently in order to multitask project activity alongside daily operational tasks
* Interface with Horizon partners, consultants, and vendors to implement solutions

Qualifications and Skills Required:

* Bachelor's degree required, either in computer science, information systems or related field or relevant combination of education and experience required
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT or relevant combination of education and experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience with systems architecture, administration and development of Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Azure, and end user devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops
* Demonstrated ability in PowerShell scripting against cloud based solutions
* Experience managing technical vendors, building relationships and leveraging outsourced service providers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex information
* Ability to communicate and work effectively with senior management across multiple business functions
* Preferred: Has direct experience with ancillary technologies such as Active Directory, MFA, and Configuration Management Systems.
* Preferred:  Healthcare or life sciences industry experience
* Preferred: Relevant certifications (MCSA: Office 365 or MCSE)
* Up to 5% travel
