Job Summary
The Manager - Digital (Web, Mobile & App Developer) oversees, manages, and supports the development operations of our web and mobile application, technologies and infrastructures. The role serves as the technical liaison between internal IT stakeholders, business units and external partners/agencies. The Manager is an essential part of the ongoing successful operations of the infrastructures that run all customer-facing technologies.
Essential Functions
* Manage daily operations for mobile application development, architecture and infrastructure design
* Coordinate development work with internal teams, 3rd party partners and offshore teams
* Analyze existing systems to identify bug fixes or enhancements that can be developed for mobile, native, and mobile web applications
* Constantly review industry standards and assist 3rd party partners in refining and enhancing existing mobile architectures and frameworks
* Guide and consult work products of internal business stakeholders and team members on mobile and web technologies
* Collaborate with the Digital Business Systems Analyst (Program Lead) to identify feasible solutions that support new initiatives or enhance existing initiatives and translate requirements into technical architecture
* Analyze, design, and develop solutions for new systems implementations, enhancements, and system integrations of existing system applications in coordination with internal and external partners
* Adhere to project plans, monitor progress and manage development elements, 3rd party partners, internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient execution of planned tasks and conformity to requirements
* Prepare, execute and validate testing activities for new application developments and system enhancements to ensure successful system integration and quality assurance guarantees
* Monitor, track and produce custom reports and ad hoc analysis of the cloud systems as required by various internal business stakeholders
* Perform system administration functions including user management, system data maintenance, and workflow rules for applicable systems
* Monitor and troubleshoot issues to diagnose and resolve complex system problems or identify needed system improvements
* Resolve and assist in the resolution of all technical issues experienced by end-users across all levels of the organization with clear communication and demonstrated customer service

Required
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Scrum Framework for Project Planning & Release Management
* Web Applications (Typescript, Babel, React, React Native, Redux, HTML/SCSS/CSS, Java Script, Webpack, & Ramda)
* Server-side/Middleware (REST (Go) API services, microservices, Node.js, Jason Web Tokens (JWT))
* Native Mobile Applications (iOS & Android)
* Working proficiency with Azure infrastructure and services (PaaS), Cosmos DB, Akamai CDNs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, OneNote and others)
* Experience with iterative development and collaboration systems (Atlassian - JIRA & Confluence)
* Experience in the technical administration and operationalization of enterprise systems
* Ability to identify areas for process improvement and recommend and implement solutions
* Strong quality assurance and unit testing experience
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology or related field
* 3-5 years of experience of cumulative mobile app development, design, and/or architecture experience
* 1+ years of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, prototyping, gathering requirements or supporting web and mobile app development
Physical Job Requirements
* This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time
* The person in this position must be able to maneuver (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) less than 15 lbs.
* This position operates machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists (ex: typing) all of the time
* This position requires the ability to spend all of the time viewing computer monitor
* The person in this position must be able to identify and distinguish between colors more than half the time
Travel Requirements
* This position requires overnight domestic travel less than 25% of the time
* Anticipated travel will be by car, air, and/or train
