POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence is a hands-on technical role to build/maintain/integration of Data Warehouse from various systems data at Oxford. DW Manager will manage the internal customer relationship with the specific business group as part of the front-end delivery team to deliver best-in-class reporting and analytics solutions.

DW Manager coordinates technical and non-technical staff to gather requirements and develop system requirement definitions. The Manager designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents requirements for medium to large scale projects. This position provides input and lead architecture of Data Model and performs ETL scripting and processes based on business requirements and in-depth knowledge of data sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead the development / be hands on of all DW ETL components (operational data store, data warehouse, data marts), from discovery through implementation, and ensures it is in alignment with SAS BI data & reporting governance practices. (BI, ETL, Data Quality and RDBMS tools/platforms)
* Hands on development in building Oracle Fact and Dimension tables, SCD tables, look up and bridge tables
* Hands on development in building star and snow flake schemas, maintaining them and tuning them as per business requirements - Inmon or Kimball methods
* Understand the impact of changes on Integration/ETL/Data Warehouse/Analytics area and document any cross application / functional impact that should be addressed along with the delivery of initiatives
* Lead scrum meetings and adopt agile development methodology using scrum/Kanban methodologies
* Implement and measure best practices in the SAS BI dashboards, Oracle ETL, Tableau Dashboards, DW batch process, reporting and dashboards
* Serve as a subject matter expert on reporting & analytics for customer facing business functions
* Translate complex business needs into simple, detailed & straightforward product/solution requirements with help of process flows, use-cases and clear assumptions
* Work with the business leaders and analysts to identify critical business processes impacted by the project and ensure the project manages to the success of those processes
* Organize and facilitate meetings with business units and project team members to identify and resolve issues, manage risks, and communicate project status

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of professional experience in building and maintaining Data Warehouse environment - Inmon or Ralph Kimball models
* 7+ years of advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence Systems & Tools (Tableau / SAS BI/ Visual Analytics/ any ETL tool, Market Automation tool (Sales Force, Hubspot)…)
* 7+ years of strong TSQL scripting, reporting, analytics, or business intelligence experience
* Ability to co-ordinate with the team using Slack, Agile, JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence and project management.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal relations skills required
* Able to work with multiple support and project teams while keeping a focus on the main project or other projects that have broad implications for the business unit and BI teams
