As a Senior Manager of Data Engineering within our Enterprise Data Services team, this role will be focused on the development of modern architectures to enable our data-driven digital business. You will help define our data strategies, grow our capabilities, and continue to develop our enterprise data platform team by providing technology leadership, career development and mentoring to team members, and guidance in architectural and design decisions.

Responsibilities:

* 8+ years of collective experience in the application of data engineering, data analytics, data warehousing, business intelligence, database administration and data integration concepts and methodologies.
* 6+ years of collective experience in delivery of large-scale mission critical data projects while interacting with a broad spectrum of enterprise operational functions.
* 4+ years of collective experience in managing a diverse team of direct reports with experience leading a cross-functional team
* Strong background with execution of DevOps methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery within a large scale data delivery environment
* Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
* Managed vendor relationships including product/service evaluation, contract negotiation and on-going relationship management
* Able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
* Familiarity with data science techniques and frameworks
* Demonstrated skills in detailed-oriented delivery management. Results oriented and with a strong customer focus
* Strong verbal and written communication skills - must be able to influence at all levels
* Strong analytical skills and creative thinker

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Math, Engineering)
* Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning concepts and technology implementations
* Experience with data analysis and using data visualization tools to describe data
* Solid understanding of big data and real time streaming analytics processing architecture and ecosystems
* Practical experience with data warehousing architecture and implementation, including hands on experience with source to target mappings and developing ETL code
* Relevant technology or platform certification (AWS, Microsoft, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's or PhD Degree in a technical field (e.g. Comp Science, Math, Engineering) or related experience
* Ability to act as a strategist and champion for enterprise architecture and design principles
* Skill in synthesizing ambiguous and complex information in a way that helps lead to substantive actionable outcomes
* Capability to deliver highly relevant and effective information to the Board, executives, and employees
* High level of credibility, with an accomplished background in architecture and strategy
* Proficiency in driving change; questioning assumptions and pushing for innovative solutions
* Lead white board discussions and presentations with key stakeholders, executive leadership and enterprise architecture team
* Cultivate a culture of technical and architectural excellence with an emphasis on quality and execution
* Ability to work in a complex, highly matrixed environment and ability to identify, define and resolve organizational issues

Working Environment:

* Normal Office environment
* Due to the nature of the role, work outside of normal business hours may be required as needed
