Overview

Inovalon's Clinical Enterprise Solutions offer a set of internal and external facing technology platforms that enable customers in the healthcare space to implement highly sophisticated value-based initiatives in very large scale. A key component of Clinical Enterprise Solutions is ePASS® (Electronic Patient Assessment Solution Suite), which is a data-driven platform that enables providers to access a comprehensive dataset of patient-specific, clinical information during the encounter. Leveraging advanced analytics and predictive modeling, ePASS® can assist providers in determining patient-measure compliance and identifying patients for targeted interventions. Through advanced, cloud-based analytics embodied within ePASS®, providers have deep insights on patients, which enables them to close gaps in care, conduct patient assessment electronically with compliant documentation tools while improving quality outcomes and risk score accuracy.

Responsibilities

* Act as the key technical resource, leading design and development of clinical enterprise solutions, understanding end-to-end data and process flows from client data integration to outcomes reporting, working closely with technical associates, cross-functional business and clinical teams;
* Create, build, test and support custom data-driven applications with actionable insights solving variety of problems related to Inovalon's complex clinical and healthcare intervention, data reporting and Electronic Health Record (EHR) processes, leading associate analysts;
* Ensure ongoing monitoring of Platform metrics, SLAs, user activity, performance, and trending reports. Proactively communicate anomalies and drive the build of proactive monitoring, improvements, and alerts of anomalies;
* Apply knowledge of technical computing platforms, tools, and techniques to analyze information and data requirements obtained from data scientists and analysts and other business stakeholders to plan and propose solutions for optimizing data integration strategies, intuitive designs, and enterprise interactive dashboards;
* Develop, implement, and execute ongoing updates to Clinical Enterprise Solutions processes, metrics, support model concepts, and SLAs.
* Build and maintain technical documentation with key artifacts describing product's custom offerings, system integrations and cross-functional dependencies;
* Strategize and implement product vision and roadmap following best practices, adhering to company's governance, policies, and procedures driving operational excellence;
* Educate product and operations teams on the use of data-driven solutions developed and collect feedback to make continuous improvements to new and existing platforms;
* Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;
* Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
* Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Healthcare IT related field of study;
* web-based technologies (e.g. HTTP, HTML5, and CSS3)
* Experience in driving product development, preferably in an Agile software development environment;
* Complementary business layer and front-end technologies (including Microsoft .Net (C#) and WCF Microsoft SQL Server;
* backend Microsoft technologies (including SSRS and SSIS), XML, Web Services;
* LINQ, multi-threaded programming;
* Cloud/Web-based computing/architecture;
* WPF, DDL and DML in large database environments [500+ Gb database size / 500+ million record tables];
* Experience leading meetings and presenting information to senior leadership;
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
* Excellent and pro-active verbal and written communication skills;
* Excellent interpersonal skills including effective listening and negotiation skills;
* Ability to set priorities and work on multiple tasks simultaneously;
* Strong work ethic, autonomy and dependability;
* Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills; and
* Solutions-oriented and able to make independent decisions;
